FINEMATTER is an online gallery that will showcase a curated selection of jewellery from leading independent designers across the globe. Having our background in Danish fashion and design we will show you the very best of Danish fashion, fine and luxury jewellery as well as will be adding Scandinavian and worldwide hand-picked designers to our selection.
When you buy a piece of jewellery on FINEMATTER, you are in fact purchasing directly from the designer. Your jewellery will be packed with care by the designer herself and shipped to you from their work-shop or boutique by the FINEMATTER secure logistics and delivered by personal courier. This whether you shop from across the world or from a local designer in your homecountry.
Each designer has been selected to showcase on FINEMATTER because she or he has a distinct and exciting design identity and offers a covetable selection of luxury fine and fashion jewellery. We’ve found and selected a range of the best Danish designers to showcase first with us, and will scout the world for interesting jewellery designers, from those you might already know and love to those you never would have known existed.
All our designers will be conscious about sustainability in jewellery making and business, and they will have this incorporated in their work-shops, selection of materials and production methods.
FINDING THE RIGHT PIECES AND PRICES
To best take advantage of the FINEMATTER shopping experience, we recommend that you register a profile with us. This will allow the correct prices, to be shown, while you are browsing, as FINEMATTER will then know to where your jewellery should be shipped. However, you can browse without being logged in, and simply chose your currency in the top bar.
FINEMATTER prices will show in your chosen currency and when you go to the cart and check-out the final price will be shown included eventual fee for duty and tax, if you are shopping across customs zones.
Prices on FINEMATTER check-out, will always be included everything. We will handle and pay for all potential duty handling and shipping and will charge a small fee for this, to be seen and included in the final price. You will never receive an additional bill from customs, when shopping with us. The price you see in check-out is the price you pay. We ship designer jewellery to all corners of the world, duties and taxes paid.
The easiest way to find the right jewellery is to use the navigation bar at the top of the page to select the categories of jewellery you are interested in or the designer you are looking for and refine your search using the filters at the left hand side of the product listing page. You will be able to chose the material, the gemstone or the design studios location in your selection.
You can also browse our designer gallery by clicking on ‘designer’ in the navigation bar. This will bring you to our brand gallery, where you can learn more about each of our brands and their design studios, and view their collections.
PLACING AN ORDER
When you’ve found the piece that is exactly right for you, please select your size and preferred metal and stone, and click the ‘Add to bag’ product. This will take you to the cart from where you can either go to check out or continue shopping.
The checkout process is fast and straightforward. If you did not register (new customers) or log in (returning customers) when starting browsing, we will ask you to register your billing details and shipping details, which will then allow the correct total price to be displayed at the final check out, including taxes or V.A.T., eventual duties and shipping.
We work with secure payment via Stripe International payment gateway and we accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. Click ‘Place order’ to confirm your purchase once you are happy with your details on the order confirmation.
Once you have placed your order you will receive an e-mail confirmation, and we will notify you once your order is on its way, sent directly from the designer studio to you. When ready to be brought to your door, you will receive a message from the courier. FINEMATTER works with DHL for international courier service.
At all times you will be able to log in and follow your orders and shipments in your FINEMATTER account.
FINEMATTER offers a 14 days free return with full refund option. For the Christmas shopping period this return option is extended to 4’th January 2019, for all orders placed from 24’th November 2018.
If, for some reason, you would like to return your jewellery, you simply write us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and mark the e-mail “return” and your order and invoice number.
We will then send you documents for a paid return shipment, and order a pick-up at your chosen time and place.
When the undamaged jewellery has been received we will refund the full amount to your account.
The returned jewellery should be with FINEMATTER within 14 days after you have received it. It means we recommend you order the return at a maximum of 7 days after reception, to allow for shipping within the 14 day return period. For the Christmas period this period is extended, so that Jewellery should be with Finematter before 4’th January 2019 for all orders placed from 24’th November 2018.
For all orders returned and received with FINEMATTER 4’th of January, 2019, we will offer a full refund.
You should always only return jewellery, as communicated and handled by FINEMATTER, to the address we will provide and with documents provided by e-mail to you.
